Are You Financially Literate

Students work either individually or as a group to create a budget for themselves.  They determine an amount of money earned in a month and then make allocations to each item in their budget.  Students also establish short, medium, and long-term financial goals.

  • How to set short, medium, and long-term goals
  • How to commit to savings and make it a habit
  • How to live on a budget (spend less than you earn)
  • The importance of managing credit
